It meets the North Sea with Fife on the north coast and Lothian on the south. The new Queensferry Crossing Bridge is a cable-stayed structure, with three towers each 207 metres high. The overall length of the bridge is 1.7 miles. At its opening, it was the longest triple tower cable-stayed bridge in the world.
